Jason Hart

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder

Jason Hart is a 30+ year veteran of the technology industry with a substantial track record of innovation and success, including more than 25 years leading security companies. As co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Safetrust, Jason leads a team of highly experienced security professionals in the development of new technologies aimed at improving productivity in the connected world. Jason’s extensive relationships within the security industry allows him to clearly articulate short-term and long-term trends including developments within mobility, the internet of things (IoT), data analytics and artificial intelligence. Prior to Safetrust, Jason served as Chief Executive Officer of Identiv following the acquisition of idOnDemand in 2011, Chief Executive Officer and Director of ActivIdentity, and CEO of Protocom Development Systems, Inc., an identity management software security business that he founded and led as CEO.

Craig Parker

Vice President Customer Experience and Co-Founder

Craig Parker is the Vice President of Customer Experience at Safetrust, overseeing the Professional Services, Education, Customer Support, Dev Support and IT. As SVP, Craig develops Safetrust’s customer service strategy and manages the overall performance of people and processes to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Craig has a rich background in security, identity, and authentication, serving in both sales and support roles. Prior to co-founding Safetrust, Craig was the ANZ Regional Manager for Identiv. He also served as VP for APAC at idOnDemand, the VP for Global Services at ActivIdentity, and CIO for Protocom Development Systems.

Andy Castle

Chief Operations Officer

Andy Castle is Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Safetrust. He focuses on creating stakeholder value by establishing and driving Safetrust’s corporate priorities globally (including offices and staff) , accelerating innovation across the company, working closely with customers, partners and prospects to drive revenue and growth, working with the manufacturing and inventory teams to meet sales demand as well as engaging with investors. Andy comes to Safetrust from previous roles in disruptive, high growth, global companies including Intelledox, where he was COO from 2011 to 2019, when it was acquired by private equity. Prior to joining Intelledox, Andy worked as the COO for a global network security management company, Protocom Development Systems, since 2002. His leadership and drive was crucial in the company’s growth and global expansion, and played a pivotal role in the successful acquisition of the business by the NASDAQ-listed US company ActivIdentity in late 2005. He then assumed the role of General Manager and Vice President – Asia Pacific in the consolidated business which he ran successfully for a further 5 years to early 2011.

Scott Griffin

Chief Financial Officer

Scott Griffin is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Safetrust. A highly accomplished and self-driven professional, Scott excels in establishing financial infrastructure and implementing robust financial modeling. He possesses extensive HR, IT, and operational management experience and is known for making sound decisions under pressure. Scott is a valuable leader and team player with notable achievements, including integrating trading systems and reducing distribution costs. He holds New Zealand and United Kingdom passports and is a US resident. Scott’s financial management and system implementation expertise contributes significantly to Safetrust’s success.

Neal Meehan

Senior Vice President Global Sales & Marketing.

Neal brings 25 years of progressive experience in the security industry, including access control, RFID, integrated security technology, management and strategy. As SVP Global Sales & Marketing, Neal is responsible for overall sales organization performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales objectives with firm business strategy.

Binh Dao

Head of Engineering

Binh is the Head of Engineering at Safetrust and is responsible for designing, building and managing the services and infrastructure for both Safetrust’s logical and physical access solutions. Binh is an experienced Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working with security-sensitive systems. He joins Safetrust with an Honors Degree in Computer Science at Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and multiple national awards in Vietnam. Prior to Safetrust, Binh worked as technical manager at Identiv and Software Engineer at idOnDemand.

Brooke Grigsby

Vice President of Marketing

Brooke Grigsby is Safetrust’s Director of Marketing, overseeing Corporate Marketing, Brand, Communications, Solutions Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales Development, and Marketing Technology. Brooke possesses a deep knowledge of the industry, with over 15 years experience in the cybersecurity, physical access security, mobile access and the Internet of Things (IoT) segments. Prior to joining Safetrust in 2020, Brooke served at Identiv for just under 10 years, 5 of which steering the marketing efforts as Director of Marketing. Previously, she led marketing at ActivIdentity (now owned by HID Global), idOnDemand (acquired by Identiv) and Identiv. Brooke is an active member of ASIS, SIA, and the NFC Forum.

Dr. Tam Hulusi

Independent Board Member

Dr. Tam Hulusi is a veteran of the industry, whose expertise spans the areas of identity management, security, IoT and other emerging technologies. In addition to currently serving on the Boards of Unikey Technologies and RemoteLock, Tam spent more than a decade at HID Global as its Senior Vice President of Strategic Innovation and during his career has held several industry roles including Vice President of Honeywell’s Access Control Systems, and CEO of Group4 Technology (now G4S). Throughout his career, Hulusi has had a significant impact in leading product innovation, business development, as well as leading growth technology companies. During his time at HID, Hulusi led the team that were incubators for the first mobile credential, trusted IoT tags and delivering trust based services online. Tam is also an inventor with nine patents. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Institute of Polymer Science, University of Essex, and M.Sc. in Quantum Mechanics from the University of Sussex. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s International Senior Management Program.

Gary Hammer

Board Member

Gary leads the business development efforts at Safetrust. He brings over 20 years expertise in partner strategy and execution, and a background in physical access: he was Co-founder and CEO of Nexkey, which built an IoT smart core for various locksets, with a cloud-based platform to enable SMBs to manage electronic keys and store auditable asset access records. Prior to Nexkey, Gary managed business development for the SaaS and Managed Services side of Silver Spring Networks, a Smart Grid / Smart City provider to the utilities industry. Before Silver Spring, Gary was Co-founder and VP Business Development of Wink Communications, an interactive TV platform company. He has also served as a management consultant with Bain & Company and as the principal of Centermost Advisors. Gary is a graduate of Yale University, and holds an MBA/JD from Stanford University.

Christopher Stone

Independent Board Member

Chris started out as a developer at Data General (Minicomputers) and helped create the original office systems software (where “blinking cursor in amber” was a feature). In the early 90s, Chris formed an organization that created a new industry around object-oriented software. They created an industry software standard called CORBA (the predecessor to web services, SOA, distributed computing, blah blah). In the late 90’s, along with Eric Schmidt (GOOG / Sun Java guy), Chris ended up being Executive Vice President of Novell, CTO, and started a Venture Capital team inside Novell with the first investment being Red Hat Software (95x return). He was deeply involved in the success of Linux and Open Source. He became Vice Chairman and co-CEO of Novell pioneering the development of new products for Networking, Data Management, Directory Services, operating systems, and Identity Management. He was also CEO of 3 startups (all sold) involved in hosted services/supply chain, supercomputing and Document/Content management, a Venture Capitalist investing in 20+ startups, Chief Products Officer at Acquia (sold) and SVP of Engineering at Oracle. A graduate of University of New Hampshire, MIT and Harvard Business School, Chris resides in Boston and Vermont.

Travis Deyle

Independent Board Member

Travis Deyle, PhD a distinguished entrepreneur and technologist, transitioned from Google in January 2016 to co-found Cobalt Robotics. Their journey led to the rapid development and deployment of security robots, garnering attention from investors like Sequoia and Bloomberg. Travis, a MIT Technology Review “35 Innovators Under 35” Award Winner, humbly reflects on his success and acknowledges the support of collaborators and mentors. Previously, Travis contributed to groundbreaking projects at Google[x] Life Sciences, including glucose-sensing contact lenses and continuous glucose monitoring devices. He co-founded Lollipuff.com as part of YCombinator’s W2013 class and remains involved as a board member. Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Travis conducted cutting-edge research at Duke University, working on wireless systems and a “cyborg dragonfly.” With a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech, Travis’s academic journey focused on ultra-high-frequency RFID for robot perception. His diverse expertise led him to Safetrust, where he now serves as an independent board member, adding strategic insights to the organization.
