About the role

Safetrust is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing network administration for our global network, local IT support to our production line, and local support to our IT lab, including robotic automation. This position is based in Fremont, CA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide network administration for our global network, including configuring routers and switches, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Provide local IT support to our production line, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining workstations and printers, and ensuring that all systems are up to date and running smoothly.
  • Provide local support to our IT lab, including supporting and maintaining robotic automation systems, ensuring all equipment runs smoothly, and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Ensure that all systems are backed up regularly and that data is protected and secure.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure all systems are integrated and working seamlessly.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to our existing systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or network administration.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and command lines.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, including switches, VLANs, and Cisco experience.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting or Windows PowerShell.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
